Crispy Baked Pickle Delight

Oven Baked Crunchy Pickles


  • 1 jar dill pickle slices, drained
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Cooking spray


  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, soak pickle slices in buttermilk for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried dill, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  4. Dredge each pickle slice in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Place the coated pickles on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Lightly spray the pickles with cooking spray to help achieve a golden crispiness.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the pickles are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
